Deuce and Advantage

Corrections

If you find an error in a deuceandadvantage reference page, we will correct it rather than delete the content. A substantive correction, such as to a factual claim about a tournament result, ranking point allocation, or a player's career statistic, will be noted at the foot of the article. This note will state that a correction was made and will include the date of that change. Minor typographical errors or formatting issues that do not affect factual accuracy are fixed as part of routine maintenance and are not individually noted.

A correction is considered substantive when it alters a verifiable fact central to the article's purpose. Examples include an incorrect match score in a tournament draw, the wrong number of ranking points awarded for a specific round, or an inaccuracy in a player's win-loss record. To report such an error, please provide the full article address and quote the exact claim you believe to be incorrect. This allows for precise identification and amendment.

We aim to review and implement all substantive corrections within two working days of receipt. The correction process involves verifying the reported information against primary sources, such as official tournament data and ranking publications. Once verified, the article text is updated and the correction note is appended.

For reference pages documenting ongoing facts, such as a player's active career or a tournament's annual edition, updates are made when the world changes. When a new tournament champion is crowned, ranking lists are published, or a rule is officially amended, the relevant pages are updated as a matter of course. These are not corrections but standard updates, and they reflect the current state of play.

Our commitment is to provide an accurate and useful resource for understanding the tournament draw and the ranking points system. The correction policy exists to maintain the integrity of that resource over time, ensuring it remains a reliable point of reference.
